  1.                              Background Help
  2.           
  3. This utility allows a user to easily select a graphic file for display
  4. on the root window.  The user can selected either BMP, XPM or RLE
  5. graphic files.  After the file is selected the program BACKDROP
  6. (provided with DV/X) is called with the selected file. 
  7.                     
  8. Drives or Directories are changed by clicking on the item once. 
  9.  
  10. A File is selected by clicking on it once.
  11.  
  12. The File can be displayed either by double clicking on it or by clicking
  13. on the Apply button. 
  14.  
  15. The graphic formats can be changed by clicking on either the BMP, XPM or
  16. RLE buttons. 
  17.  
  18. A file can also be enter manually by typing it into the File Selected
  19. area and pressing ENTER or clicking on the Apply button. 
  20.  
  21. The Filter text can also be manually changed.  After changing the Filter
  22. text you will need to press the Rescan button. 
  23.  
  24. The Parent Dir button will move you up one level in the directory path
  25. as will the '..' selection. 
  26.  
  27. When a Drive is selected you are always place at the root.
