OVERVIEW
________
You have received a call informing you that bombs have been planted in
this 100 room hotel. You also determine that there are guests currently
in their rooms. Your mission is to RESCUE all the guests.
You receive 50 points for each guest rescued. However, this number is
reduced by 5 points for every guess it took to rescue all 9 guests. Should
you uncover the BOMB, the game ends and you lose 100 points from your High
Score.
In he registered version you can start a fresh game (no entries in the
PCRESCUE.SCO file) by simply deleting that file and playing the game (it
will automatically create the new score file if it does not locate it in
the same directory as the PCRESCUE.EXE file).
NOTE: Unregistered version will have some pauses, displays and the
INABILITY to create a High Score file.
INSTALLATION
____________
(1) Create a separate Directory for PC-RESCUE.
Example: MD RESCUE
Use this directory to house all the PC-RESCUE files. If you do not
want to keep ALL the files, you can delete all EXCEPT the following:
PCRESCUE.EXE PCRESCUE.INS
(2) Create a batch file, or use the sample PCRESCUE.BAT file supplied, to
automate the running of the game. A description of the file follows.
a> ECHO off
b> C:
c> CD\PCRESCUE
d> PCRESCUE YourName/Registration Number /OFF
e> CD\
a>: Do not echo the following commands
b>: Change to the correct Drive letter
c>: Change to the PCRESCUE directory created in (1) above
d>: Execute PCRESCUE.
YourName is your name (Name you will use on the registration form!)
Forward slash (/) is required.
Registration Number is the registration number supplied by the author.
Note: Be sure to use 00000 if not registered!
/OFF is used if you DO NOT want to hear the game opening sound. If
you want to hear the sound do not enter /OFF
e>: Change back to the root directory
(3) I would place the batch file in the PCRESCUE directory AND add the
PCRESCUE directory to your PATH (in your Autoexec.Bat file)

REGISTRATION
____________
Registration and the subsequent insertion of the registration number on
the Command line, allows for the display of your name on the opening screen
as well as the reduction of any delays built into the program. It will also
allow you to play as many games as you wish, without having to run the game
each time you play another game in the same execution.
To register your copy of PC-RESCUE, please fill out the registration form
(PC-REG.FRM) and mail it along with a check
Be sure to use the proper upper/lower case when filling in your name,
as it MUST match the way you entered it on the Command line.
Based upon information supplied on the registration form, I will pre-
register you on my BBS. You will then be able to call SUNRISE-80 and pick
up your registration number.
