INSTRUCTIONS
Cryptograms is played exactly as you would play the ones appearing in
newspapers, magazines and puzzle books. A coded sentence (normally a
phrase) is presented to you and you must break the code by substituting
letters and analyzing the sentence structure. The Cryptogram will contain
only alphabetic characters (A-Z) with no punctuation, numbers or special
characters.
You will have a preset time limit to play the game, as well as a preset
number of times you may play per day. When you're satisfied that you have
solved the Cryptogram, signal the computer by pressing the "/" key. You
can clear ALL letters you have entered, and start over by pressing the
"-" key. When you Quit the game (!) the Cryptogram, and the letters you
have substituted, will be saved and you will pick up play where you left
off next time you call (unless the Cryptogram was changed in the interim).
