  6.     Febbs has a new keysystem. To evaluate this version You must

  17.     - If You tried to rename a file and it allready existed Febbs
  18.       would terminate with a runtime error.

  21.     - Corrected Errors in Feppla.

  23.     + Added a function to tag files that are older then a certain
  24.       date. Usefull when You need to clean up a bit in large areas
  25.       with lots of files.

  28.     + Feppla will no longer automaticaly uppercase names and
  29.       command lines of the external utilities since some utilities
  30.       are case sensitive.

  33.     + Built in editor in Feppla of the text files that Febbs
  34.       depends on. Use either from a separate menu or use the hotkey
  35.       (F4) when defining the names of the different text files in the
  36.       lists setup part. Filesize max 64Kb of the files to edit.

  39.     + The toggle flags part in the setup has been changed to act more
  40.       like the rest of the setup. That is the SAA key <F2> is used to
  41.       save that particular part.

  44.     - When saving Files.Bbs Febbs would leave a Files.$$$ file in the
  45.       direcory if Files.Bbs was locked. This as been corrected. Febbs
  46.       will now inform You if the Files.Bbs is locked when trying to
  47.       save it.

  49.     + Added a function to let You strip DownLoad counters inside the
  50.       editor.
  51.       Suggested by Lars Hellgren.

  53.     + Rewrote one of the often used routines in the list creation
  54.       part of Febbs and gained a whopping 2% speed increase :-)
  55.  
  56.     + Did some more rewriting. This time 2 routines ported to pure
  57.       assembler and another 6% speed increase when creating the
  58.       lists was the result. (estimated time spent assembler coding
  59.       was 4hours. So one can allways ask oneself if it is worth it :-)

  61.     + Febbs will now treat all lines starting with characters less
  62.       then #33 as comment lines so You can now have Avatar colour
  63.       codes as the first thing on a line.

  65.     + The date style setup has changed to be more like DOS internal
  66.       numbering of the Date styles. Please adjust to Your prefered
  67.       style.

  69.     + New key system. Due to the fact that someone broke the old
  70.       Febbs key system there is in this version a new one. This means
  71.       that if You are a registered user (see REGUSERS.FEB for a list
  72.       of registered users) then You have to contact either the USA
  73.       registration site or the main registration site to get an
  74.       update of Your key.

  76.     + Added an evaluation key system. To be able to evaluate
  77.       Febbs You must enter an evaluation key in the setup. This
  78.       key is time limited to 6 months from the release of the this
  79.       specific version. Every new Febbs version will have a new key.
  80.       E39D842B8BB3 is this versions key.

  82.     - A small glitch caused Febbs to only be able to handle 255
  83.       records in Maximus Area.Dat file.
  84.  
  85.     - When hurling Zero length files Febbs would end with a division
  86.       by Zero error.

  88.     - When hurling between to areas on the same physical disk and You
  89.       choose to overwrite a file Febbs would sometimes still transfer
  90.       the description to the new area allthough it shouldn't.

  92.     + The number of empty lines at the end of Files.Bbs is now configurable.

  94.     + Removed support for the FBTMP environment variable. This option is
  95.       now located in the setup under General Items.

  97.     + Changed style of the setup program when You choose wich areas to
  98.       include in the different lists.

  100.     + The areas to include in the list of frequable directories is
  101.       now configurable.

  103.     + The video option in the setup has been enhanced to feature
  104.       Auto mode as well not only 25 rows or 43/50 rows.

  107.     + You can now configure up to 10 files that Febbs should
  108.       ignore when adopting files and so on.

  111.     + In some environments the fast move (rename) across drives
  112.       does not work to well. Therefore it is now possible to
  113.       setup wether or not to use the fast move between drives.
  114.       Normaly this can be set to OFF if You do not have any assigned
  115.       or substituted drives cause this is the only time the fast move
  116.       works between drives.

  119.     + You can now design the header that comes before each area in
  120.       the filelist. This is done in a text file that You can call
  121.       anything You want. Just make sure to in the setup, under list
  122.       setup -> Headers/footers to set "Area header ctl file" to point
  123.       at this text file. Included as an example is HEAD.FEB that also
  124.       explains the metastrings availiable.

  127.     + Full support for Maximus 2.00 long areanumbers.
  128.       Suggested by Anders Brink.

  130.     + Added toggle in the setup if You, as Maximus 2 sysop, want to
  131.       use the long areanumbers or if You want to stay with the old 3
  132.       character style. This switch has no effect in any other mode
  133.       then Maximus 2 mode.
