Angle: The shape made by 2 straight lines that meet, the space
between such lines, and the degrees of difference between them.
Bearing: Direction or position with reference to the compass or
some known points.
Circle: A figure bounded by a single curved line, every point of
which is equally distant from the point at the center.
Compass: An instrument for showing direction consisting primarily
of a magnetic needle swinging freely on a central pivot so it can
always point to the magnetic north.
Degrees: A unit of measurement, 1/360 th of the circumference of
a circle. A right angle, for instance, has 90 of these units
between the 2 lines that meet.
Direction: The point toward which one faces or line along which
one moves or lies.
Orientation: Awareness of ones environmentas to time, space,
objects, and people. To face a specified direction.
Rectangle: Any 4 sided figure with 4 right angles.
Declination: The difference in degrees between the true-north(the
North Pole) and the magnetic-north(which can be over 20 degrees +
or - in the United States).
