  1.         THE FOLLOWING WAS TAKEN AS A LETTER READ ON
  2.     THE AIR OF "THE RUSH LIMBAUGH SHOW" AND POSES
  3.     AN INTERESTING TWIST ON GUN CONTROL ARGUMENTS.

  5.     PEN CONTROL U.S.A.

  7.     I would like to invite you and all your friends to 
  8.   become members of "Pen Control U.S.A."
  9.  
  10.      Our goal is to propose legislation which would be 
  11.   designed to forever keep the implements of script, print and
  12.   type out of the hands of liberal lawmakers and journalist,
  13.   for as you know we are becoming inundated with bad law and 
  14.   editorials in our country; and, we feel the time is right
  15.   to put an end to it.

  17.     Now there are two classes of weapons targeted by our 
  18.   movement.  Concealable and automatics.  The concealable are
  19.   comprised of pens, pencils and crayons; the latter of which
  20.   is largely responsible for this dissemination and 
  21.   articulation of most liberal thought.  These would be
  22.   permitted to the general public, provided anyone wishing to
  23.   obtain one can certify that he or she has successfully 
  24.   passed an intensive six week "writers safety course."  The
  25.   automatics include typewriters, word processors, presses and 
  26.   computer printing devices.  These items would be immediately
  27.   confiscated by police and dumped into the prince William
  28.   Sound.  On neither class of writing tool would a grandfather
  29.   clause apply.

  31.     We do realize that Constitutional concerns relating to 
  32.   the first amendment arise; but, Supreme Court president does
  33.   exist that allows modification of this amendment for the
  34.   purpose of public safety.  For example it is not permitted
  35.   for a person to yell "fire" in a movie theater, not that
  36.   anyone would hear it anyway.  Besides if the original intent 
  37.   rule were followed, only "quill-pens" and "manual printing
  38.   presses" would be protected by the first amendment.  
  39.   Interested persons may obtain more facts about our movement
  40.   by using their imaginations.

  42.     THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE WHICH ILLUSTRATES THE ABSURDITY OF MOST
  43.     LIBERAL ARGUMENTS.
