  6.        The Shopping List is setup to take advantage of the recipes listed in
  7.        PERSONAL RECIPE COOKBOOK. Press the <4> key to bring up the Shopping
  8.        List Menu.

  11.                                     ════ Add ════

  13.        Select the <2> key or use the down-arrow key and move the bar to ADD.
  14.        Press <ENTER> to accept.
  15.  
  16.        The screen that appears is for adding entrees to the shopping list.
  17.        Item No. is the number of the item being added. Press <ENTER> and move
  18.        the cursor to ITEM. List the item to purchase. After the item has been
  19.        added press the <ENTER> key and move down to "Store". Fill in this
  20.        field if you want to note were the item was purchased. From there lets
  21.        move on to "Coupon". Do you have a coupon for this item? If so enter
  22.        a <Y>. Do the same for "Sale". Is the item on sale? <Y>? <N>? What
  23.        about the "Qty" or quantity? How many of this item do you want? If
  24.        there was a coupon how many does it specify? After "Qty" you can list
  25.        what the unit amount is. Then the cost. That can either be for each
  26.        item or their total. Here is an example.

  28.          If I have a coupon that says 3 cans of soup for $1.00. The quantity
  29.          could be (1), the units would be (3 cans) and there would be a total
  30.          cost of ($1.00).

  32.          No coupon, no sale. This item is cabbage at ($.55) per lb. I'm going
  33.          to purchase (4) head.  The quantity is (4).  Each unit is about
  34.          (2 lb.).  The cost is ($.55/lb). That's each lb. not the total.

  36.        After all information is entered use the <ESC> to save and exit.

  55.        Now here is a different way to list items for purchase when the item or
  56.        items are taken from recipes that are cataloged in this program. This
  57.        method will list the ingredients automatically. Here is how it is done.

  61.        Press the <F4> key to bring up the RECIPE SEARCH SCREEN.  Move the bar
  62.        to the recipe that contains the ingredients that have to be purchased.
  63.        Press <ENTER>.The next screen shows the ingredients of the recipe that
  64.        were selected.

  82.        Move the bar to an ingredient to be purchased. Press the <ENTER> key to
  83.        mark that item. To mark more than one ingredient just move the bar to
  84.        the selected item and use the <ENTER> key. When all the necessary
  85.        ingredients are marked, press the <ESC> key to return.  Notice, when
  86.        choosing multiple ingredients, that the ITEM NO. has changed and the
  87.        ingredients marked are not available to complete the record. Don't be
  88.        alarmed. What the program did was move to the next empty record for
  89.        entry.  If you have no more entries to add use the <ESC> key to save
  90.        and exit. The entries that were marked can be completed by choosing the
  91.        edit function from the SHOPPING LIST MENU.

  96.        Let's edit the Shopping List to complete the marked entries.  Select
  97.        EDIT/DELETE from the SHOPPING LIST MENU.

  114.        Move the bar to one of the ingredients that hasn't had all the
  115.        information added to the record. Use the <ENTER> key to choose that
  116.        item.

  120.        The record can now be edited and the additional information added as
  121.        necessary. After this record is complete use the <PgDn> or PgUp> keys
  122.        to edit other items that have incomplete records. Press the <ESC> key
  123.        to save and exit this area after the records have been updated.

  128.        This area allows for viewing the shopping list by printing the list to
  129.        the screen. The other choices send the shopping list to the printer or
  130.        to a disk file. If you have different shopping list that were created
  131.        and saved to a disk file they will have to be printed from outside the
  132.        program. The only choice that requires additional information is File.

  143.        This function shows the record being directed to a disk file. Enter the
  144.        file name before the extension. Then press the <ENTER> key to write the
  145.        file to disk. The extension <Txt) is added automatically.

  150.        This function deletes all the entries in the shopping list.
