  6.      Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia featuring Virtual Workspace (SRP
  7.      $3395) on CD-ROM is a must for those who need factual reference
  8.      materials without the cost and bulk of a multi volume hard cover
  9.      encyclopedia. There are over 33,000 articles, 13,000 pictures, 800 map
  10.      atlas, an online dictionary and thesaurus and more presented in an
  11.      easy to use "Virtual Workspace" environment. CIE presents you with the
  12.      ability to view and get to information through its Path Bar,of 11
  13.      routes including visual, picture, video, sound plus idea and content
  14.      searches.

  16.      Over 100,000 hypertext links provide interactive links
  17.      throughout all the 11 paths which are  represented as icons on the
  18.      Path Bar. For example the idea search is a language retrieval system
  19.      which will provide a list of article relevant to the question posed
  20.      such as Where do bananas grow. You can go directly to the contents
  21.      icon which presents an alphabetical listing of all the articles in the
  22.      CIE, pictures are in another table with a listing of all 13,000
  23.      entries. Entries of video clips are also listed as well as slide shows
  24.      and sounds.

  26.      Virtual Workspace allows you to work on any number of
  27.      documents, in virtually unlimited ways to browse, search, study or
  28.      be entertained. Virtual Workspace is a new Windows shell that turns
  29.      the boundaries of a computer screen into a virtual infinite working
  30.      display. You can open any number of documents (only limit is your PC's
  31.      RAM), articles, pictures, music, animated sequences and keep them
  32.      active simultaneously. The notepad feature allows you to cut and paste
  33.      information from the CIE into your workspace and to print it out as a
  34.      document.

  37.      documents you have assembled in you Virtual Workspace. Represented as
  38.      blocks, with assigned filenames that can be moved and rearranged to
