  5.        Thank you for taking a look at THE INTERSTATE TRAVELER.  I hope you
  6.        will find it useful and want to add it to your software library.
  7.        The licensing terms for the program can be found in the file
  8.        REGISTER.DOC.  Once the program has been installed, please read that
  9.        file.  This is version 2.0 of the program.
  10.  
  11.        This program requires an IBM or IBM compatible PC, 640K of RAM, 
  12.        16 color EGA or VGA color graphics display, DOS 3.3+, a hard drive
  13.        and a floppy drive, or two floppy drives.  A mouse is optional.
  14.  
  15.        To install the program on your hard disk or another floppy, insert
  16.        the first (or only) disk into the A: or B: drive.  Make that drive
  17.        the default drive and key-in INSTALL.  When the install screen
  18.        appears, press ENTER twice to load both the program and data files.
  19.        Next, select the destination drive and directory (C:\IST20 is the
  20.        default).  You will be informed when to insert the second disk, if
  21.        necessary.

  23.        To run the program after installation, make the directory containing
  24.        the program files the default directory (CD\IST20, for example),
  25.        key-in IST, and press ENTER.

  27.        To get into the program quickly and see what it can do, print the
  28.        SAMPLE.RUN file.  Use the printout as a script for running the
  29.        program.  It will guide you, step by step, through the trip planning
  30.        process.

  33.        the payment of a registration fee should you wish to continue using
  34.        it after a reasonable trial period.
