  6. No one could make desserts like Grandma!  Her years of practice made
  7. all of her cooking delicious, but her desserts were unequalled.  Here
  8. are some of Grandma's best recipes.

  12. Anything with an * by it means, it can be obtained through the 
  13. catalog, included on this disk.  For CATALOG return to the Main Menu.

  17.                          CHERRY CRISP
  18.  
  19. 4 C. fresh or frozen Cherries + 1\4 C. Cornstarch, 1 t. Vanilla,or...
  20. 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling
  21. 2 C. Flour                            2 t. baking powder
  22. 1 C. Sugar                            Dash of salt
  23. 2 Eggs                                1 stick Margarine
  24.  
  25. Place both cans of pie filling (or 1st cherry mixture) in 9x13" 
  26. oblong pan.  Blend together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.  
  27. Drop eggs into this mixture and mix until crumbs form.  Pour over 
  28. cherries.  Melt margarine and pour evenly over cherries.  Bake at
  29. 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

  32.                       CAROB NO-BAKE COOKIES

  34. 2 C. Sugar                            1\4 C. Carob*
  35. 1\2 C. Milk                           1\2 Butter
  36. 1\2 C. Peanut Butter                  1\2 t. Vanilla
  37. 3 C. Quick Oatmeal
  38.  
  39. Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in saucepan.  Bring to a boil
  40. and boil 1 minute stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Stir in 
  41. peanut butter and vanilla.  When well mixed stir in oatmeal.  
  42. Thoroughly coat oatmeal and cocoa mixture, then drop by spoonfuls
  43. onto wax paper.  Makes 2 dozen.
