  1. Microsoft QuickBASIC 4.5 almost supports the Hercules (mono) Graphics Adapter.
  2. If you use a Hercules or pseudoHercules graphics card, then you must first run
  3. MSHERC.COM, which was included (with no documentation and no mention) in the
  4. QuickBASIC package.

  6. I have been unable to uninstall MSHERC by any means other than the Three-finger
  7. Salute (Ctrl-Alt-Del).  This means that you will also be unable to uninstall
  8. any other TSR programs previously installed.  Clever programming from an outfit
  9. who purports to be a leading software company.
