The Birthday Program
--------------------
Version 1.3
The Birthday Program Version 1.3 is an enhancement of the previous ver-
sion of the program. Additional colors, birthday information, sounds,
and improved data entry are now available. The capability to save the
birthday information to disk for later inclusion in other documents if
desired is also included.
Direct printing of output from The Birthday Program is possible through
use of the Print Screen (PrtScr) key. If the box outline does not print
properly, consult your printer manual. It may be necessary for you to
adjust your printer to enable it to print the extended character set,
which includes the line drawing characters.
Hot Keys in The Birthday Program should be self-explanatory. Experiment
with them if necessary -- they are all non-destructive. Explanations
are available from the author for the 'Thought For The Day' messages.
'Glisters' really is the correct spelling -- but where does that quote
come from?
The Birthday Program begins with information about the newest United
States President. Birthdates of other living former Chief Executives
are: Richard Nixon, 1/9/1913; Gerald Ford, 7/14/1913; Jimmy Carter,
10/1/1924; Ronald Reagan, 2/6/1911; George Bush, 6/12/1924. These dates
are stated in month/day/year format.
Let me know what you think of The Birthday Program, how you use it, and
what improvements you would like to see in future versions.
