Select { 3 } Picks Using Away / Home Stats
This is the same as Select { 2 } Picks Using Overall Stats except
that the program only uses games played away by the away team and
games played at home by the home team. We set the default to 07,
but you can use any number from 3 thru 16. We run both options
and check to see if they have both picked the same team. A lot
of times the Overall picks will be different then the Away /
Home picks. You have to keep an eye on this because sometimes
one option will be better then the other. We try to play only
the picks that match both options.
Remember on any given night only God knows for sure!!!

Some things you may or not know about baseball
----------------------------------------------
1. It has been said many of time that GOOD PITCHING beats GOOD HITTING.
The truth is that good pitching beats good hitting most of the time.
2. When you bet baseball you bet a money line and you should never bet
a Favorite, but if you do never, never lay more then 7 to 5 never.
Try to bet only Dog's as you can win 1 of 3 Dog's and still make
some money.
3. Example of the money line. Lets say that Clemens is pitching for Boston
and is the Favorite vs a weak team. the line would look something like
this. Boston 230 Cleveland 100. This means that if you bet Boston you
would have to put up 230 to win a 100 on the other hand if you played
Cleveland you would put up a 100 to win 220. This is the main reason
you should only play DOGS. If you bet 3 Dog's at 230 / 100 and only
win 1, you have won 220 and only lost 200, so you have made $20. On the
other hand if you bet 3 favorites and win 1 you have won 210 and lost
460, that makes you 250 in the hole.
4. Most of the time the Home Team is the Favorite and the Away team the Dog.
5. This program only uses the runs scored and allowed by each team in direct
relation to each teams strength of schedule for the number of games you
have selected to use. In short this program looks at the hitters and not
the pitchers.
6. All teams have their 1 and 2 main starting pitchers so what we look for
is when the program picks the dog and the other team has their 3 or 4
pitcher going that day vs any of the pitchers our team has going.
7. We don't use the 2nd of game of a double header in this program as the
teams use a different catcher and most of the time a long reliver as the
starting pitcher.
