  132. Couldn't be farther from the truth.  The disk (1.2 gig) Micropolis 1598
  133. SCSI drive C: (partition) is 125 meg, with more then 43 meg of free disk
  134. space.  When I "press any key to continue" as stated above, it just
  135. comes back to this screen immediately.  "Esc" doesn't work to get you
  136. out either.  So I just had to close the DESQview window.

  153. I have also installed 'all' of the PSAs included with PCB v15.0 beta.

  161. Prior to their installation, I didn't notice any problems.  I've pretty
  162. much tested everything out that I can possibly think of and can't find
  163. any other bugs other then the fact that the "W"rite User Info command
  164. doesn't work for me as SysOp in local mode (or as a user in local mode),
  165. nor does it work for my users when they want to make changes.  I had 3
  166. users who called in attempt to change their password without being able
  167. to get into the "W"rite user info area.  I checked the configuration out
  168. and any user on the system with a security level of 4 or above can use
  169. the "W"rite User Info option.  All who have tried, including me have had
  170. a security level of 5 (normal access) or higher (like me as SysOp with a
  171. security level of 90) and no luck.  All other functions work like they
  172. are suppose too.

  178. One of the new PSAs is affecting the 'W' command.  Probably the 'Password
  179. Changing Support (*)'

  181. PS:  Keep up the great job.  Having previously been a beta tester for
  182. Ken Goosens and RBBS, I can understand the frustrations involved.  I'm
  183. not a programmer, but I do have a good idea of what you need to know in
  184. order to fix a bug.

  188. POSSIBLE BUG #3:

  191. I have a user that can not upload using any protocol (internal or external)
  192. on Node 1 (Hayes Accura 14.4 modem/fax).  Nothing has changed from what I
  193. can tell, except in the Modem Configuration for PCB v15.0 beta, the old
  194. "Hayes V Series Modem" is no longer listed.  Could that have an impact?
  195. The user is using a Intel 14.4 modem.  On Node 2 (Intel 14.4) the same user
  196. does 'not' have any problems uploading.

  198. COM PORTS ON BOTH NODES ARE LOCKED AT 38,400.  MEMBERS DIAL IN SPEED
  199. UNDER TELIX IS 38,400.  GETS 14.4 CONNECT, 38,400, LAP-M ERROR
  200. CORRECTION, ETC.

  202. Downloads by same user on both nodes are okay.

  204. The Hayes Accura 14.4 modem/fax is not listed in PCBMODEM.EXE.  Hayes
  205. (in Atlanta, GA) told me that any of their 14.4 configurations should
  206. work for async communications.  I am using the Hayes Ultra 14.4
  207. settings in PCBMODEM.EXE and then using PCBSETUP.EXE to lock the com
  208. port to 38,400 baud.
