Scouting history: As a Cub, was one of the original 5 members
of our group, when it started in 1969. Am now a Venturer
Advisor with the same group. After 2 years in Cubs and 3
years in Scouts, I became a Junior Activity Leader with
the Cub pack. I continued with the Cubs for 14 years, even
becoming the Cubmaster for a time when I was not actually
old enough for the position.

Typography & Lettering: long-standing interest in logo design and
type design. Recently have been studying font design using
computers. Have a 3-year college diploma in Graphic Design.
Local History & Genealogy: have been researching the history of
Brooklin, Ont. (population 1800) since I was 14 years old.
Have also been working on family history research the last
few years. Worked for the Whitby Historical Society for
about 6 months. Very interested in Canadiana and have long
been interested in heraldry (coats of arms).

1st VP) and the Horticultural Society (have been librarian of
200 books for about 10 years)
I love to sing. I'm not great at it, but I love singing and

are Nintendo's and parents who refuse to "get involved" due to
"lack of time".
