  5. These are the listings from the December 1992/January 1993 issue of
  6. PC TECHNIQUES, Volume 3, #5.
  7.  
  8. We place *no* restrictions on the distribution or use of the source code
  9. published in the magazine.  Please add it to your user group library or
  10. BBS file archives.  Pass it along to your friends.  Make sure that anyone
  11. who might conceivably find the code useful will get it.
  12.  
  13. Tom Swan's column listings are contained in their own .ZIP file,
  14. STATUS.ZIP.  Ditto for Irene Governale's article, "Catch the .WAV."
  15. The .ZIP file there is VBWAVE.ZIP, which contains all the
  16. listings for the article.  The same is true for Tom Campbell's article
  17. "Play It Again, VB" with listings in VBMIDI.ZIP.

  19. PC TECHNIQUES SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
  20.  
  21. Subscription rates are $21.95 per year (6 issues) in the US; $29.95
  22. per year to Canada (in US funds) and $39.95 overseas, again in US funds
  23. drawn on a US bank.  Two year subscriptions are available for $37.95
  24. in the US; $53.95 to Canada, and $73.95 overseas. (A $63.95 rate
  25. previous published for two-year overseas subs is incorrect.)  We accept
  26. personal and company checks, money orders, and Visa and Mastercard.
  27. Also note that overseas and Canada subscriptions should be paid for
  28. in US funds drawn on a US bank.  Otherwise, currency conversion and
  29. foreign bank collection fees can amount to as much as $20, which
  30. obviously won't work out for a $20 or $30 subscription.

  36. We want your HAX!  You don't have to be a published writer.  You just
  37. have to get your concept down as best you can in short form, along with
  38. small amounts of code.  Think small!  HAX should fit on a single magazine
  39. page.  You shouldn't send more than 50 or so lines of code with a HAX, nor
  40. more than 400 or 500 words.  We pay $25 for each one we publish.
