GRADING SKILLS POWER 2.00 Outcome-Based Education Registration $59.00
SDN_EDUC APR93 TEACHER OBE OUTCOME-BASED EDUCATION GRADEBOOK <ASP>
FILES: GRSKILL2.SDN
Author: WISCO Computing, Terry L. Jepson
GRADING SKILLS POWER is a teacher developed database designed
specifically for Outcome-Based Education. This program can be
used as an alternative or a supplement to a regular grading
program.
Skills (or the educational term Outcomes) are entered in
different skill groups (for example, math, science, reading,
etc.). Reports are created listing different skills that
students have achieved, and skills the students are still trying
to learn. Administrative summaries include totals of all skills
the students have achieved. Reports can be quickly printed
listing over 1100 skills to be learned during the school year.
GRADING SKILLS POWER can be used by both elementary and
secondary teachers. Elementary teachers divide skills into
groups based on the subject matter (for example, math, science,
reading, etc.). Secondary teachers divide skills into groups
based on their units. For example, an earth science teacher
could have groups called rocks and minerals, weathering and
erosion, rivers, ground water, glaciers, volcanoes and plate
tectonics, weather, oceanography, and astronomy.
This program allows up to 75 skills listed in each of 15 skill
groups. Up to 15 classes (groups of students) can use the same
set of skills. Sample files are included with the program.
Hardware Requirements: IBM PC, PC-compatible or MS-DOS computer,
