  7. The Coastal Zone Color Scanner Browse Program was designed to provide a
  8. researcher with the ability to quickly search the entire Level-2 CZCS
  9. data set and to instantly view the color-coded phytoplankton pigment
  10. fields that meet the search criteria. The browse images are displayed at
  11. 4km resolution which is generally sufficient to resolve most of the
  12. features of interest. If the researcher feels that a selected scene
  13. warrants further investigation, the program provides for the generation
  14. of an order file which can be sent electronically to the NASA archive
  15. where the digital data are copied and sent to the requestor.
