  6.    At present NED contains extensive CROSS-IDENTIFICATIONS for over 200,000
  7.  objects -- galaxies, quasars, infrared and radio sources, etc.  NED provides 
  8.  POSITIONS, NAMES, and BASIC DATA (e.g. MAGNITUDES, REDSHIFTS), as well as:
  9.     > BIBLIOGRAPHIC REFERENCES:  (a) provided by SIMBAD for 1983 to 1989
  10.         (b) derived by NED for several journals since January 1990,
  11.     > ABSTRACTS: collected by NED from several journals since 1988,
  12.     > NOTES: from major catalogs such as the RC1, MCG, Hubble Atlas, etc.

  14.   This interface assumes that you have a VT100 terminal, or VT100 emulation.
