  8. This ASCII version of the Scriptures was created through the efforts of
  9. many volunteers.  Although every effort was made to be as accurate as
  10. possible, we are sure these files contain errors.  Therefore, be sure to
  11. consult a post-1982 printed version of the Book of Mormon if accuracy is
  12. important. The printed version always takes precedence.

  14. These files are not public domain. They are freely copyable. No charge may
  15. be made for them. No changes may be made, except to bring them into
  16. conformity with the official version printed by the Church of Jesus Christ
  17. of Latter-Day Saints.  The headers to books and chapters (all parts
  18. numbered with :0 ) must conform with pre-1979 versions of the scriptures.
  19. All of the files in this archive must be kept together when distributing
  20. the archive.  The ASCII Scriptures may be used and distributed freely for
  21. NON-COMMERCIAL, PRIVATE purposes. Uploading to bulletin boards is
  22. encouraged.

  25. the mistakes we are sure they still have.  If you find errors, please point
  26. them out to me so I can correct them in the master. Sending me a corrected
  27. copy of the verses would make me very happy. If you have any comments or
