pull down menu.

Use 'Round Table' to view information
for QSOs logged in. Use the or
keys and Enter to display the QSO log
information in the 'QSO Entry' window.
Any memo associated with the QSO is
displayed in the Notepad area.
To remove (log out) a QSO from the
'Round Table' window, press the F6 or
F9 keys. This also adds an end-contact
date and time to the QSO entry.

A blank Start date finds matching QSO
entries based on search characters only.

Use 'Import To' to copy QSOs entries
from one log to another. The QSOs
used to import are located in the
file EXPORT.DAT. To create this
file, select 'Print' from the Main
Menu and then 'Choose QSOs' from
the pull down. Use the F6-Export
format.
∙ Use Esc to cancel the 'Import To'
window without importing QSOs.
∙ Use or and Enter to select a
log to receive the QSOs.
Note: Make a backup copy of the log
file before using 'Import To'.

Use 'Home Coords' to specify
your home latitude and longitude.
To change from decimal to degree-
minute format use F6. Decimal
format example:
Latitude : 35.42 N (N or S)
Longitude: 078.45 W (E or W)
Press F4 to save the home values.
The values are used for the beam
heading and distance calculation.

Use 'UTC +/-' to specify the time
difference (+ or -) in hours between
UTC and your local time zone. Press
F4 to save the value.
This value is used to set the computer
clock to UTC when MicroHam is started
and reset to your local time when you
exit. To display the usual computer
time in MicroHam, use a '0' value.

The 'Convert' windows change
temperature, distance or length
values from metric to US and back.
To use, type the known value in
the correct field and press F4.
The converted value appears in
the other field.
Values can be any decimal number.
Do not include commas. One field
must be blank before you press F4.

Use 'Add Date/Time' to specify a
date and time for the new QSO
entry. Press F2 to add the QSO.
The date and time become the time
stamp that appears in the Date

Use 'Band' to select the band for
the search operation. Entries are
printed when the characters match
and the selected band was worked.
Output can be sent to the printer

Use 'Dot Matrix' to specify the
codes used by your printer for
Condensed and Emphasized print.
These codes are used during the
print of the log and labels.
The default values provided are
suitable for most dot matrix
printers. Refer to the MicroHam
manual for additional details
for laser and other printers.

Use 'Integ/Speed' to change the speed
setting for the active log. There
is a trade-off between log speed and
log protection. Log protection is
important in case of a power loss or
computer failure.
Level 4, the default setting, provides
the most protection for your log under
all conditions but produces slightly
slower log operations. Level 1 gives
the fastest log operations but does
not provide as much log protection.
If in doubt - use Level 4. Refer to
the user manual for details.

Use 'Conversions' to select the
type of measurement conversion.
The 3 types of conversions change
a metric measurement to US or US
to metric.

the location's grid square -or-

CD-ROM reader. MicroHam will
look on the drive you specify
for the HamCall information.

QSL status report to run. The
active log is used. These
reports are useful for QSL card
tracking. After you select a
report, you are prompted for a

Use 'QSO Locate' to locate a date,
find the first QSO or last QSO in
the active log. The first or last
QSO depends on the current index,
indicated by the field name in

'QSO Entry' window.

current entry to the printer in
label format or select an output
device for a search of the current
field. The cursor position in the

Use 'Award Report' to create,
view and print an award report.
The report is created using the
Award fields in the active log.
The results are placed into the
