  4. The recent posting by VE3EAR was in error with regard to the resistor
  5. to be cut to enable out-of-band receive (and xmit).  It should have
  6. named R25 instead of R57.  R25 can be found on the bottom side of the
  7. Control Unit circuit card (X53-3250-00 A/3) and is visible and accessible
  8. without removing the card from the front panel.  The resistor R125
  9. mentioned is actually a zero-ohm resistor, that is, a jumper.
  10. The cross-band repeater function is enabled by removing R121, as described.
  11. This resistor is zero ohms, and was blue in color without markings.
  12. The modification procedure I have seen says to reset the microprocessor
  13. twice after making these changes.
