  10.      The list command prints a list of the messages in the current
  11.      mailbox (or "area").  For each message, the list contains the
  12.      subject header line, the time and date it was created, who it
  13.      is from, how many bytes long it is, and whether or not it has
  14.      been read.

  16.      L by itself will display the headers for all unread messages,
  17.           if any.
  18.      LA will list all messages, read or unread
  19.      LL will display the last <number> of message headers.
  20.      LM is the same as 'L'
  21.      LB will list all bulletins
  22.      LT will list all traffic
  23.      L> xxx  will list all messages that have the string 'xxx'
  24.              in the To: address
  25.      L< xxx  will list all messages that have the string 'xxx'
  26.              in the From: address

  28.      You may include an optional "starting_msg_number"  from which
  29.      to begin displaying  the list.  If you specify a starting msg
  30.      number, then  you may also specify an  ending number as well.
  31.      This will limit the display for you in case there are a large
  32.      number of messages in a particular "area" mailbox.
