  1.      F[inger] [<user_name>][@<host>]

  3.      The finger command retrieves  personal information about users of a
  4.      system.  When used by itself, a list of known  users on the current
  5.      system will be displayed. When a user_name is added to the command,
  6.      finger will display information about that particular user.
  7.  
  8.      As of v1.05, it will show if and when the user last logged in, as
  9.      well as information set in the users finger-file, if set.
  10.  
  11.      The same functions  detailed above  may be  performed on some other
  12.      TCP/IP host connected to the network. Just add the "@<host>" to the
  13.      finger command as specified in the usage line above.  To get a list
  14.      of the  users on a  remote  system, enter  "finger"  followed  by a
  15.      <SPACE> and an "@", then the host name.  To get information about a
  16.      remote user, simply insert the user name before the "@".
