  1.                     DISPLAY FAMILY TREE
  2.  
  3. This display may be used  to  navigate  through  the  entire
  4. family.  The  cursor  defaults  to  the  name of the key in-
  5. dividual represented in the tree. You may enter a  name  (or
  6. number) in this prompt to display the tree of any individual
  7. in your files.
  8.  
  9. The F4 key will sort the .GEN file by dates of  birth.  This
  10. is  helpful  to  display  the siblings and children in their
  11. order of birth.
  12.  
  13. The function keys F5 and F6 (MOTHER and FATHER) will  change
  14. the  key  individual to the Mother or Father of that person.
  15. In this way you may quickly travel  back  through  ancestral
  16. family lines.
  17.  
  18. The  F7  (TREE) key will display the tree of the person that
  19. is currently under the cursor. Since the <DOWN-ARROW>  moves
  20. first  to the key individual's children, you may move almost
  21. as quickly through the descendant family lines  as  well  by
  22. hitting the <DOWN-ARROW> and then the F7 key.
  23.  
  24. The  <PAGE-UP> and <PAGE-DOWN> keys will scroll the CHILDREN
  25. and SISTERS AND BROTHERS fields to display (and allow you to
  26. choose) more names than could fit on one screen.
  27.  
  28. The  F8  key will save all information on this screen in the
  29. .GEN file. It normally treats all brothers  and  sisters  as
  30. full  siblings  if  they have not been shown otherwise, that
  31. is, all siblings that do not currently have a mother  and/or
  32. father  recorded  will  be  saved as children of both of the
  33. parents shown on this screen. This may  require  that  half-
  34. brothers  and half-sisters be reentered using the individual
  35. screen.

  37. The F10 (SELECT) key is used to exit the screen  and  select
  38. the  individual  under  the  cursor  to  be displayed in the
  39. Genealogical Information screen from where this function was
  40. first called up.
