If you are printing the
questions or printing a test,
pressing 9 will give you the options
in figure 12.
Option 1 will begin printing on
your printer. The document will be
printed at 79 characters per line.
There is no left margin on tests.
Before printing actually begins you
will be given 8 seconds to cancel.
Option 3 will print the same
document, except it will print on
the screen. This will allow you to
view your document before you send
it to the printer.
Option 2 will print your
document to the disk. Why would you
want to do this? One reason would be
to print out the document on a
better printer which is attached to
a different computer. If your entire
question list is too large to copy
to a floppy you can just send the
document to the floppy instead.
Another reason would be to load your
document into a word processor. You
may wish to use special fonts,
formatting, or other functions that
your printer and word processor
support. If so, send this document
to disk and then load it into your
word processor.
Option 4 allows you to choose
between a line printer or a laser
printer. If you choose the line
printer your document will be
printed at 66 lines per page,
including a 3 line margin at the top

if "Show correct answer" is "YES".
18. Will not print on printer.
If you are shown the "Printer

wrong with your printer, the problem
may lie with the program. Before
your document begins printing the
program asks the printer if it is
ready. Some printers will return the
wrong code even if it is ready. To
bypass this, choose the "Turn off
quick printer error" function when
the printer error message is
displayed. Once this function is
turned off it will remain off until
you exit the program or turn it back
on. While the "quick" printer error
function is off, the program will
still detect an actual printer
error.
