KISSS (Keep It Simple, Stupid, Software) Presents:
DIALZ: A program that transforms your $2,000 computer into an $8
alarm clock.
For reasons that have enriched many a psychologist, people who
sleep right through their regular alarm clocks no matter how badly
they need to wake up on time are easily roused by the ringing of
the telephone. If you have a second telephone line into your abode
for a modem this program will ring your phone at the time
requested. Likewise, you can offer a friend a wakeup service -- or
supply him/her with DIALZ and get a wakeup call from a friend's
machine. Or you can set the machine at work to call you at home.
Or call a co-worker. Any time you want. The possibilities while
not endless are several.
This package includes two versions. DIALZ2.EXE is for machines
that talk to the modem via COM2. DIALZ1.EXE is for COM1.
If it's worth it to you, for $5 I'll provide a custom version of
DIALZ with whatever telephone number you want to call and the
proper modem port written into the code. Send a disk with info and
a SASE my way. Otherwise, be my guest.
