────────────────────────────── LOGIN 1.00 ───────────────────────────────
For RemoteAccess 2.00 *ONLY*
**** Backup your USERS*.BBS ****
LOGIN has worked flawlessly on both mine and my beta tester's system, but
please backup your USERS*.BBS files. Better safe than sorry.

Requirements:
100% IBM Compatible Computer
A somewhat recent version of DOS
RemoteAccess 2.00
What LOGIN does:
LOGIN allows RemoteAccess sysops the flexibility of using a system
of logins per day (with each login getting the same amount of time),
instead of RA's current system of X minutes per day.
How to use LOGIN:
LOGIN 2 A4
^ ^------ Flag to turn on when user has reached the max. calls
|______ Maximum calls per day
Run LOGIN in your batch file every time a user logs off. Then create
an automatic menu item that requires the flag you specified on the
commandline for LOGIN. Have this automatic menu display a textfile
saying something like "You have reached the maximum amount of calls
for this day, please call back tommorow."
Run FLAGOFF <flag> in your daily maintinence, this will turn the
flag so users can login the next day.
You can list names in an optional control file LOGNAME.CTL that you
do *NOT* want LOGIN to touch.
How LOGIN works:
LOGIN first reads LASTCALL.BBS to count the amount of calls the user
has accumlated for the day. If the amount of calls for the day
is less than the maximum amount of calls specified on the commandline
the users time is reset so he/she can login again. If the amount
of calls for the day equals the maximum amount of calls the flag
specified on the commandline is set and the user can no longer
login.
The future:
Depending on feedback, I am considering adding an option to specify
users you don't want LOGIN to touch based on security level.
Registering LOGIN:
LOGIN is free for non-commericial use. If your BBS is of the commericial
nature, please contact me regarding registration (the price will be
reasonable, if it all, depending on the specific nature of your BBS).
