Project Timer Main Window
To run Project Timer copy the files PT.EXE and PT.DAT to your Windows
directory.
The Project Timer main window consists of three push buttons and the
timer information. Project Timer allows you to set up ten timers for
different projects. When the program is first started you will notice
'Select' is the only option available. Press the 'Select' button and you
will be able to choose one of ten timers. Using the drop down list box,
choose the timer you want to use. If you want to restart the timer at
its previous count click 'OK' if you want the timer to begin counting at
00:00:00 click on 'Reset'. If you want the program to close to an icon
when the timer is started, set a check mark in the 'Icon on Start' box,
if not uncheck the box.
After you have selected a timer, the other to options are now available.
The 'Setup' option allows you to name the timer for the project you are
timing. The rate is the hourly rate you are charging for the project,
and the initial value is any add amount for supplies, special output,
etc.
After you have selected a timer and set it up for your project, press
the 'Start' button. The timer will begin counting and the amount will be
calculated using the assigned rate. The 'Start' button changes to the
'Stop' button. To stop the timer press the 'Stop' button. You can
restart the timer, change the setup, or select another timer.
To exit the program just choose 'Close' on the system menu, or double
click the system menu box in the top left corner of the window.
