.TX1 *** INDEX LINE HEADING FOR FIRST SECTION OF TEXT HERE ******
Insert first section of text here with {VARIABLE_NAMES} in curly
braces using Non-Document or other ASCII text mode. Leave a
space before the <RETURN> on the end of each line inside each
paragraph with no space before the <RETURN> at the end of each
paragraph.
.TX2 *** INDEX LINE HEADING FOR SECOND SECTION OF TEXT HERE *****
Insert second section of text here with {VARIABLE_NAMES} in curly
braces using Non-Document or other ASCII text mode. Leave a
space before the <RETURN> on the end of each line inside each
paragraph with no space before the <RETURN> at the end of each
paragraph.
.TX3 *** INDEX LINE HEADING FOR THIRD SECTION OF TEXT HERE ******
Insert third section of text here with {VARIABLE_NAMES} in curly
braces using Non-Document or other ASCII text mode. Leave a
space before the <RETURN> on the end of each line inside each
paragraph with no space before the <RETURN> at the end of each
paragraph.
.TX4 *** INDEX LINE HEADING FOR THE NEXT SECTION OF TEXT HERE ***
Continue with additional text sections numbered with .TXnn
Numbers and Index Lines not to exceed the number which will fit
on one screen. (About 16 if you plan to add headings to the
Index)
Then, end the file with the following line:
.END **************** END OF SAMPLE01 TEXT **********************
(Note: The longer your text files the longer it will take the
program to find the last text selection in it.)
Then start a new file named <FORM>02.LEX with text sections
starting with a dot command line beginning with .TX1 ***, etc.
After you have completed the <form>nn.LEX files start the PC-
LIBRARY program and enter the form name. Select Option 2 (Text
Library) and enter the prompts for the variable names when
requested to do so. When completed have the program update the
variable file and the prompts and index lines will be added to
the <formname>.VBL file.
You can then add headings to the index section of the variable
file and otherwise revise it as a pure ASCII file to display the
way you want it to when drafting documents. You may also add
variable help messages in the .HP section of the file for some or
all of the variable prompts.

The {~LIB_#} variable help response is a number which sets the
color attribute of the border and the screen. The first two
digits, converted to hexidecimal, set the border color for the
screen, the next three digits, converted to hexidecimal, set the
color attributes for normal characters and the next three digits,
converted to hexidecimal, set the color attributes for high-
lighted text.
The last three digits is used to calculate the estimated document
value for value billing purposes - the 082 value reflects
dictation at the rate of 80 words per minute @ $150.00 per hour
and typing at 50 words per minute @ $35.00 per hour.
The {~LIB_#} numbers are the decimal equivalent of the following
hexadecimal digits:
Background Color Attribute: 1st Hex digit
0 - Black 4 - Red 8 - Black/blink C - Red/blink
1 - Blue 5 - Magenta 9 - Blue/blink D - Magenta/blink
2 - Green 6 - Brown A - Green/blink E - Yellow/blink
3 - Cyan 7 - White B - Cyan/blink F - White/blink
Border and Foreground Colors: 2nd Hex digit
0 - Black 4 - Red 8 - Gray C - Light Red
1 - Blue 5 - Magenta 9 - Light Blue D - Light Magenta
2 - Green 6 - Brown A - Light Green E - Yellow
3 - Cyan 7 - White B - Light Cyan F - Bright White
For example:
{~LIB_#}
01023079082
is the code for:
Border or
Decimal Hexadecimal Background Foreground
Border Color: 01 0x01 N/A Blue
Normal Character Attributes: 23 0x17 Blue White
Highlighted Character Attributes: 79 0x4F Red Bright White
Some Super VGA Cards and Screens require use of the following:

Decimal Hexadecimal Background Foreground
Border Color: 01 0x01 N/A Blue
Normal Character Attributes: 31 0x1F Blue Bright White
Highlighted Character Attributes: 63 0x3F Cyan Bright White
