For the TriBBS Bulletin Board System

Description
-----------
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to download the latest copy of
TriMast! What this program does, simply put, is make a master
list of files on your TriBBS BBS so that your users can download
and peruse it at their leisure.
Disclaimer
----------
Simply put, I accept no responsiblity for what this program does or
does not do. Use it at your OWN RISK!! I, Randy Hunt, have the right
to discontinue support of TriMast at any time.
Directions for setup
--------------------
This part is easy! Just make a file called TRIMAST.CFG. I have
included one so that you can see it. This file will contain
the following:
Line 1: BBS's name
Line 2: Sysops first and last name
Line 3: Path to your MAIN TriBBS work directory WITH a \ on the end!!
(that '\' is VERY important!!)
Line 4: Your Registration number (0 if unregistered)
Line 5 and up contain the number of the file areas that you want
in the master list of files, one per line.
(up to 150 file areas)
for example....This is the setup for my TRIMAST.CFG file:
James Bond's Hideaway
Randy Hunt
D:\TriBBS\MWORK\
1234
1
2
3
5
6
<END of example file>
The file areas that would be included in the list are:
1, 2, 3, 5 and 6.
The reason I don't have 4 included is because file area
4 on my board is for my use only. Get it? good.
Anyway.
Then all you do is (either in an event or from the command line) to
type:
TRIMAST filename
where filename is the name you want to give to the master file list. This
command line parameter is optional; if it's not given, TriMast will default
to MASTER.LST.
You will see it go thru the files, and you may
even see an error if you have a bad area. Anwyay. Trimast will
then drop you back to the command line. It just created a file
called MASTER.LST, or whatever you asked it to be called.
That's about it!
Hint: You may want to put MASTER.LST (or whatever you called it)
on your board along with a zipped version of it. Makes it
much faster to download! <GRIN>

Shareware
---------
Please note that this is NOT crippleware. ALL features of TriMast can
be used without registering it. But, for my time and energy, I would really
appreciate the registration. Read on for an incentive:
This product is SHAREWARE. Please help support shareware by
registering TriMast. By registering, you will get your own
registration number that will rid you of the [UNREGISTERED SHAREWARE]
notice, and will in place say "Registered to: [Your name here]".
The code will work with this, and all future versions of TriMast.
This code will be mailed to you, in a letter.
To order, print and fill out REGFORM.TXT and mail
it to me along with a check payable in the amount of $10 (United
States Funds ONLY) plus whatever other charges might be found
in REGFORM.TXT, to the address at the bottom of the form.
Read this!
----------
If and when you register, make SURE that the name you put for
"Your Name" on the registration form is the SAME NAME that is
in your TRIMAST.CFG file! This is what the registration number
is based on!!!!
