Terminal program (Version 4 BPQ)
--------------------------------
Introduction
------------
This program was written primarily to demonstate how to talk to the
G8BPQ version 4 computer interface.
The run the program you must first have loaded the version 4 BPQ
software. If you wish to use the monitoring facilities it must be ver 4.02
or later. The program requires 1 parameter which is the stream number
it should use to talk to the node.
If you run the node under DV allocate a window size of 17K.
Commands
--------
When you start up the program it will default to the disconnected mode.
To talk to the node you must first connect which is achieved by pressing
the F1 key. Once connected all the usual commands such as R P N L and S
can be used. You can, of course, also use C callsign to connect to another
station.
If you wish to allow connects to this program via the node press the F2 key.
This will disconnect you from the node and set the program up as a HOST
application so that any person on the node who types just C will be
connected to the program.
You can monitor what the node is seeing by pressing F3. This switches on
full monitoring of all the connected radio ports and it does include
some simple decoding of NETROM data.
The F10 key will show you the status of the first 54 streams on the node.
It gives the callsign using the node and the number of frames waiting to
be sent and received on each stream.
Any comments on the program will be welcome.
