[Corrections, V4.43]
Fixed the dropping of DTR. Should work okay for Hayes AT command set
compliant modems. If there are problems, please let me know ASAP!
[Corrections, V4.42]
Attempting to fix problem of NOT hanging up in Task Types 10 through
13, although they are supposed to...
[Additions, V4.40]
Added seven new Task Types, four which specifically handle logging
out of M-M, and three which rearrange the query for a security pass-
word in a different manner than three other existing Task Types. In
this way, a sysop has even more configurability available to him/her.
[Corrections, V4.31]
Fixed unusual expired trial period problem. No longer freaks out
past 24-48 hours of continuous operations. Note that this problem
does NOT occur on registered systems.
Fixed the MegaCommand system lockup problem.
[Corrections, V4.30]
Fixed the pause toggle problem. It used to maintain the toggle
value (either YES or NO) from a previous Task and then use that
same toggle value for the displaying Menu Task that follows, even
if the toggle is set off for the Menu Task. It is working correctly
now.
Fixed the ASCII/ANSI toggle problem. Like the pause toggle problem
mentioned above, the toggle value from the previous Task would be
used instead of the toggle value of the displaying Menu Task. Again,
this is working correctly now.
[Additions, V4.25]
Added Copy Task and Rename Task functions to MezSetup in the
Task Management section.
[Corrections, V4.25]
Re-enabled the global command prompt option so that if the partition
command prompt option is left at its default of "NONE" or blank, the
global command prompt is used.
Changed the default taring of the Task command prompt from "[M-M IV]:"
to "NONE", thus taking advantage of the previous correction note.
Changed the default taring of the ASCII/ANSI toggle to "ASCII+ANSI".
This will automatically allow the sysop to configure the Task for
ANSI scanning.
[Additions, V4.20]
Added a primitive activity log for downloads.
[Corrections, V4.10 series]
Fine tuned Type IV with minor cosmetic corrections.
[Additions, V4.00]
Completely rewrote all of the programs comprising M-M. New database
design allows for use of DOS' inherent file hierarchy as the only
limiting factor in the number of partitions available.
[Corrections, V3.08a]
Changed the Unregistered Pause to a series of Unregistered RETURN
statements in MEZZ.Exe. The Unregistered Pause is still in
MEZSETUP.Exe, as it does not affect remote usage.
[Corrections, V3.06]
Rearranged the protocol priority for the downloading options. Now,
instead of going straight into ZModem downloading as a default,
the transfer process will abort, thus saving some users the
embarrassment of going through with a download they did not want.
[Additions, V3.05]
Added support for non-standard communications ports and DigiBoards.
Read MEZANINE.DOC for details.
[Corrections, V3.04]
Revised the partition-to-partition transfer routines.
[Corrections, V3.03]
Fixed the file transfer bug which was present in V3.02/α. Now the
multiple download protocols in the DSZ engine are all available to
users.
[Additions, V3.02]
Removed the old multi-protocol support in Type II for a hard-coded
module. This takes the headache off of sysops who have a difficult
time determining just how M-M and DSZ should work together. Type III
allows for all of the download protocols found in the DSZ engine.
[Additions, V2.03]
Allowed for selection of registration information display types at
the beginning on Metro-Mezzanine.
Added ability to custom-design the registration information display.
Added multiple protocol command line entries for use with the DSZ
protocol subsystem.
Added ability to custom-design the protocol selection menu.
Added excessive carriage return checking.
Fully implemented partition password checking.
Added new data structures to MezSetup to enable all of the above
new features.
[Corrections, V2.03]
Reset color scheme at the end of every Metro-Mezzanine run.
[Corrections, V1.00]
Replaced the generic "Return to BBS" message with the common
ellipses. This makes transitions between M-M and other programs less
confusing to the users.
Fixed the double <ENTER> requirement after the welcome file display.
Now the user will only need to hit <ENTER> once to pass from the
welcome file to the menu.
Fixed the screen pausing problem which is commonly encountered with
elaborate ANSI menu screens. Now there is no annoying screen pause
in the middle of the ANSI menus.
[Additions, V0.22]
Expanded both text file and downloadable file paths from 20
characters to 60 characters.
[Additions, V0.21]
Expanded the Task types to include two new combinations. See the
docs for Types 5 and 6.
Expanded unregistered demo version's total number of partitions from
2 to 10.
Expanded registered version's total number of partitions from 20 to
40.
Added ability to custom-design the M-M command prompt.
Added support for a welcome/intro file in ASCII and/or ANSI.
Added support for a sysop-designed menu file in ASCII and/or ANSI.
Added an ANSI toggle just before the welcome/intro file display.
Added partition listing routine in MezSetup.
[Corrections, V0.21]
The nasty after-download screen trash was an unintentionally
included call back through the reflux port buffer. It was removed.
