ANSI View 3.0 * Copyright 1993,94 Robert D. Bouman
History
February 1994 -
Version 3.0 adds video hardware detection and autoconfiguration to ANSI
Views capabilities. Also, three new command-line switches were added.
/V=x will now let the user select how text is written to the screen.
Text can be written using BIOS services (x=B) or directly to the video
screen (x=D). Because of the speed in which ANSI View can display
images, a speed altering switch (/S=0-9) has been added so that users
with fast computers can actually see the ANSI animation on their
computer screens. Also added the /COLOR=OFF switch to allow users to
display ANSI images in black and white.
November 1993 -
Cleaned up the scrolling mechinism. Version 2.0 also included the
addition of the <P> and <ESC> to pause the execution of the current
image (<P>) and to abort the ANSI View all together (<ESC>).
August 1993 -
Original realease of ANSI View.
