  14. On the 16th of November the transaction was finalized: SPEA Software AG 
  15. and Diamond Multimedia merged to become a single company. As a result, 
  16. a new enterprise has appeared on the market with what can be considered 
  17. as the most comprehensive multimedia, communications and graphics product 
  18. palette to date. The companies complement each other as SPEA's operations 
  19. have concentrated on high-end graphics and CAD boards as well as digital 
  20. video, whilst Diamond has been highly successful in the standard graphic 
  21. boards, games accelerators and communication market segments.

  23. In the future, the entire business with SPEA, Diamond and Supra products 
  24. in Germany will be handled by the SPEA headquarters located in Starnberg.
