  11.     Thank you for purchasing the SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS graphic card. We,

  42.     The V7-VEGA PLUS graphic card is a product that offers significantly
  43.     enhanced features compared to other standard VGA graphic and 
  44.     accelerator boards.

  46.     This particularly applies to  
  47.     - higher resolutions    and
  48.     - higher refresh rates.
  49.  
  50.     Please be aware that you can only take full advantage of the 
  51.     features provided by the V7-VEGA PLUS, if the other components of 
  52.     your system, especially the graphic monitor that is being used,
  53.     also comply with the specifications of the V7-VEGA PLUS.

  55.     (Example : The resolution 1280x1024 that is supported by the 
  56.     SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS can obviously not be used with a monitor that
  57.     is specified to only support resolutions up to 1024x768.)

  64.     For installing the SPEA V7 Windows driver 'BigWin':

  66.     Select the menu items 'File' and then 'Run' in the Windows Program
  67.     Manager. Then enter:

  77.     As already mentioned above, the graphic monitor used with the
  78.     SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS must comply to the specifications of
  79.     the SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS. Only then can the full functionality
  80.     of the SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS be used.

  84.     Please only select parameters that your monitor is specified for.
  85.     Your monitor may be seriously damaged, if it is constantly driven 
  86.     with parameters which are not within the range of its specification.
  87.     If you change your monitor you have to compare the specification
  88.     and, if necessary, to change the resolutions / refresh rates!

  95.     (1) It is not possible to use two or more VGA boards in one PC at 
  96.     the same time. 
  97.     In case you want to use the V7-VEGA PLUS board in a PC that has a 
  98.     VGA interface integrated on the motherboard, then this integrated
  99.     VGA interface must be disabled before the V7-VEGA PLUS may be used.

  101.     (2) In some PCI PCs you may reboot (cold restart) your computer twice
  102.     if the SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS is installed in a PCI motherboard slot
  103.     of such systems.

  105.     (3) Some applications such as Windows 3.1, and others offer 
  106.  
  107.              "Video 7 ..." display interfaces
  108.  
  109.     in their configuration programs.
  110.  
  111.     These options should NOT be selected when using the 
  112.     SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS.
  113.  
  114.     Please follow the instructions given in the user's manual to 
  115.     guarantee that the optimum configuration for the SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS
  116.     is being installed.
  117.  
  118.     (4) To keep the compatibility to a lot of monitors, the 
  119.     SPEA V7-VEGA PLUS has the possibility do create low refreshrates
  120.     at high pixel resolutions. Synchronisation problems may in this case
  121.     occure with high-class multi-sync monitors. To prevent this, please
  122.     choose the highest horizontal frequenzy as possible with your monitor.
