  22.     1) Change to the \USTATION directory.
  23.  
  24.     2) Run the USCONFIG program to select the device driver
  25.     for your SPEA board.
  26.  
  27.     3) Select a second adapter if needed.
  28.     Note: You will be asked whether you want to disable the virtual 
  29.     graphics page. If you disable the 2nd graphics page you can 
  30.     choose resolutions up to 256 colors. If you enable the 2nd 
  31.     graphics page, all possible resolutions are displayed with 
  32.     16 colors only.

  34.     4) Select 'Exit' and 'Save'.
  35.     Note: You must reboot your system for changes to take effect.
  36.  
  37.     5) Configuration of the MicroStation device driver via the 
  38.     environment variable MSPEAPM
  39.  
  40.          You will find the file "MSPEAPM.BAT" in your \SPEA\GDC directory. 
  41.          In the simplest case you have only to start this file and
  42.          the environment variable will be set.
  43.          If you don't need a standard configuration you must change
  44.          the file:
  45.     
  46.         SET MSPEAPM=-Ccardr -Vx [-LCcardl -LVx]
  47.  
  48.         -Ccardr defines the graphics board type for the single screen or 
  49.         the graphics board type for the right screen
  50.         -Ccardl defines the graphic board for the left screen (only for
  51.         dual screen configuration)
  52.  
  53.         cardl, cardr can be:
  54.           0: Graphiti main board (HiLite, FIRE, FGA,...)
  55.           1: Graphiti secondary board (HiLite, FIRE,...)
  56.          10: SPEA V7-board with activated VGA part 
  57.              (V7-MIRAGE, V7-MERCURY, V7-MERCURY PRO with ISA-, VL- or PCI-bus)
  58.          11: SPEA V7-board with deactivated VGA part
  59.              (only V7-MERCURY ISA and V7-MERCURY PRO ISA possible)
  60.  
  61.         -Vx video mode for main/left screen
  62.         -LVx video mode for right screen
  63.  
  64.          The parameter "x" for SPEA Graphiti you can read in your manual or
  65.          after starting the the programs 860MODE, HIMODE, FGAMODE or GDCMODE.
  66.          If you work with S3-chip based SPEA V7-boards you can start
  67.          VMODE in your \SPEA\GDC directory you get a list of the available 
  68.          modes.
  69.          Note: The driver supports olny 8 or 32 bit color dept.
