  6. TreeSize Professional is a powerful and flexible harddisk space manager for
  7. Windows 95/98/NT. Find out which folders are the largest on your
  8. drives and recover Megabytes on it. Treesize Professional shows you the size,
  9. allocated and wasted space, the number of files, 3D bar charts and pie charts,
  10. the last access date and much more information for several folders or drives
  11. you choose. It also searches for old, big and temporary files on your hard
  12. disks. The application has an intuitive Explorer-like user interface and it is
  13. fast and multithreaded. You can print detailed reports or export the collected
  14. Data to Excel or a text file. TreeSize Pro can be started from the context
  15. menu of every folder or drive.

  18. INSTALLATION

  20. Click on Setup.exe and follow the instructions. It is possible to uninstall
  21. TreeSize Professional via Control Panel/Software. You can install and uninstall
  22. different versions of TreeSize Professinal seperately as long as you install
  23. them in a different folder. The default folders of the installation are usually
  24. different.
  25. By installing TreeSize Professional you accept the license agreement outlined
  26. in License.txt

  31. TreeSize Professional is Shareware, that means you can try it and distribute
  32. the complete archive. If you decide to use it, you must register. Please look
  33. in the help file for detailed registration information.

  36. BUGS AND LIMITATIONS

  38. Please report errors and problems to the support@jam-software.com . Here's a 
  39. ist of known bugs and problems:

  41. * Direct export to Excel 95 will only work, if the default language for
  42.   OLE Automation in Excel 95 is english. All localized versions (e.g. German
  43.   or French) have localized OLE commands, that means I need to know French
  44.   or Chinese OLE commands to automate the localized versions. I'm not sure
  45.   if I will find a solution for this problem. But It works fine with all
  46.   versions of Excel 97.

  48. * If you have installed WS FTP Professional V5.0 or higher, this software 
  49.   installs two new folders with FTP Connections, one of them below 'Desktop'
  50.   or 'My Computer' and an other in 'Program Files\Ws_ftp'. When you now scan
  51.   your Program Files folder with TreeSize Professional, the Ws_Ftp shell
  52.   extensions try to connect to all listed FTP servers. To solve this problem,
  53.   you can delete the folder 'Program Files\Ws_ftp\FTP Connections' with the 
  54.   Explorer, it is not necessary, because there is still the same folder under
  55.   'Desktop' available.
