  5. SpeedCommander is a 32bit application that runs under Win95 or WinNT 4.0 (or 
  6. higher). It does not run under Win3.x and Win32s or WinNT 3.51.

  9. File Viewer
  10. ---------------
  11. SpeedCommander integrates the QuickViewer of Windows 95 / NT 4.0 and Quick View Plus.

  13. It offers also some own filters for the file types listed below:

  15.  - Bitmap (BMP, DIB)
  16.  - PaintBrush PCX (PCX)
  17.  - JPEG (JPG)
  18.  - TIFF Baseline (TIF)
  19.  - Kodak Photo CD (PCD)
  20.  - Metafiles (WMF, EMF)
  21.  - MCI Dateien (WAV, MID, AVI and other installed MCI-Extensions)

  24. The file "Filter.Ini" contains the settings for the filters for the different file types.
  25. This file is located in

  27.   <C:\Program Files\Shared Files\SpeedProject\Filter>

  29. In the section [Default] you will find the extension together with the assigned
  30. filter. A semicolon at the beginning of a row deactivates a viewer. If a file type
  31. is not assigned with a viewer, SpeedCommander will use its default user to let you view
  32. this file type. The default viewer can be deactivated by a semicolon, too.

  34. At first SpeedCommander is looking into the file  "Filter.Ini" to decide  wether it shall 
  35. use its own filters or the QuickView of Windows 95 / NT 4.0 or Quick View Plus.

  37. IMPORTANT: The use of a default viewer in the file "Filter.Ini" disables the QuickView 
  38. of Windows 95 / NT 4.0 or Quick View Plus inside SpeedCommander.

  44. created with the TRIAL VERSION of SpeedCommander is hereby strictly prohibited.

  47. created with SpeedCommander freely.
