  2. About the Amiga and DVD-RAM:

  5. DVD-RAM is a good low cost, large storage and backup device.
  6.  
  7. To the Amiga it's just like a slow SCSI MO drive or removable HDD with 
  8. each side of a disc storing 2380 MB (Version 1) or 4482 MB (Version 2).
  9.  
  10. I have found no real problems using the SCSI version with the Amiga 3000.
  11.  
  12. You cannot currently write a RDB to mount or auto boot a DVD-RAM disc using
  13. HDToolBox, it doesn't understand it's writable (Type 5 CD device) !

  17. If however you use MakeDrivers RDB List Creator option and RDBList_Prep to
  18. write a real RDB to a disc, HDToolBox (Not HDInstTool or OS 3.5 HDToolBox)
  19. will then be able to edit those values.

  21. It may be slightly odd editing a 4.7 GB disc with a pre OS 3.5 HDToolBox,
  22. it should still work but some of the values may be shown as being negative.

  28. This is still a beta and may have some bugs that I've missed, but the more
  29. time I take trying to find bugs, the longer it takes to get released.

  31. Any reported and confirmed bugs will be corrected in a hopefully quickly
  32. released next version.

  46.     Partitions with lots of different filesystems, I would need to

  168. I like to write programs but I really don't like doing the documentation !

  170. I've have taken a lot of time and trouble to make these the best drivers I
  171. could and also to be as accurate as I can with all the information, taken
  172. from lots of different sources.  If their is anything you could improve or
  173. know to be incorrect, please feel free to send any helpful information or
  174. corrections for the next update.
