  7. This is an asm chunky to planar routine wrapped by an E program. It is not
  8. particularly fast, but by far faster than an ADD-ROXL approach. Works even
  9. on a plain 68000.

  11. The source is interwoven with a very detailed explanation of how it works.
  12. In the distributed form it is hardcoded for 8 bitplanes (i.e. 256 colours)
  13. but can easily be adapted for any lower number of bitplanes, if required.
