@! New to version 3.5
There are many new features to version 3.5 of Reil Image. There is a new "Add descriptions to all images" button, A whole new Category system, faster thumbnail loading, Alphabatized image list, A new searching system, Sizeable Windows, and more. See "update.txt" for more information.
@!File, Print
Allows you to print the image.
@!File, Exit
Exits Reil Image.
@!Options, Play Sounds
Will turn off or on the sounds inside Reil Image.
@!Image, Copy/Move
This command will allow you to copy a file to a different location on your hard drive. You have the option of deleting the image from its original location.
@!Image, Delete
This will delete the image from its actual location.
@!Image, AutoGrab
This will turn AutoGrab "On" or "Off".
@!Image, Edit Current Image
Using the editor that you set up under the "Options" tab, this command will open up the image into the editor of your choice.
@!Image, Search for Image
You can now search for any image in your database using the "Search" tab. You can search by description, or by category.
@!Conversion, Image to BMP thumbnail
Converts any size image to a Bitmap thumbnail. This would be the first step you would take if you were trying to convert your images to GIF thumbnails.

@!Conversion, Image to BMP
This will convert any GIF or JPG image to BMP format.
@!Conversion, BMP to GIF
This option converts BMP to GIF format. This is the second command into converting your images into GIF thumbnails.
Reil Image currently does not support this option internall, so we are using an external program to convert our images. It is a freeware program, and can be found in C:\RIMAGE\.

@!IMAGE TAB
The image tab is used for viewing a larger version of the current selected image. Clicking on the image will bring the image up in full screen mode, and allow you to view the image in its actual size. You can then click anywhere on the full screen image to return to the main window.
@!THUMBNAIL TAB
The thumbnail tab allows you to view images in a smaller version. You can click on the image to select it. By selecting the image, you can view it in the image tab, copy it, delete it, and more.
SPECIAL NOTE : The first time the image is loaded, it will take longer. A thumbnail will be created, and the next time you load the directory, it will be much faster.
@!Slide Show
The Slide Show sports the new Category section. Just check any of the categories you would like to view, and they will be added to the show.
@!Slide Show, Mouse Click
Checking this setting will allow you to move to the next image by just clicking your left mouse button on top of the image.
@!Slide Show, Seconds
If you select to use seconds instead of mouse clicking, the slide show will move to the next image by a certain amount of seconds that you set.
@!Slide Show, In this directory
If this value is checked, Reil Image will only show the images in the current directory.
@!Slide Show, In selected categories
If this value is checked, Reil Image will only show the images that have the same categories as the ones you check.
@!Slide Show, Continuous Loop
If this value is checked, It will repeat the list when it is finished with the last image in that directory or category.
@!Slide Show, Start at first image
If this value is checked, The slide show will start at the first image in the directory. If the value is not checked, it will start at the current image.
@!HTML TAB
The HTML Wizard allows you to make complete web pages of any image directory on your hard drive within seconds! Packed with all kinds of features, the HTML wizard allows you to have almost full control of the web page.
@!HTML tab, Bground Color
This option will set the color of the background of your web page.
@!HTML tab, ACTIVE LINK
This will change the color of all links when your mouse is over the link and you have pressed the left mouse button (selected the link).
@!HTML tab, VISITED LINK
This will change the color of all links that have been visited before (You have clicked on them before and been to them), and are not being clicked.
@!HTML tab, FONT COLOR
This will change the color of all text on the web page, other than links.
@!HTML tab, LINK
This will change the color of all links before they have been visited, and while they are not being clicked.
@!HTML tab, BGROUND IMAGE
This is the image that will be used to wallpaper the background (similar to wallpaper on your desktop in Windows 3.1 or windows 95)
@!HTML tab, USE WATERMARK
This will take the image that you have chosen as your background and securet it to the page (It will not move when the web page is moved up or down). Normally, the image will move with the page.
@!HTML tab, GRAB CURRENT
Grab Current will grab the current image that is being displayed on the right side of the screen. If you leave the directory that you are creating the web page for, make sure you return to that directory before creating the web page, and when you store your web page on the internet, that you include images from all directories.
For example, You may be creating a web page for your ALLEY CATS directory, but your business logo is in the BUSINESS directory. change to the BUSINESS directory, GRAB CURRENT, and move back to the ALLEY CATS directory. When the web pages are created, and you FTP them to your web site, make sure you include the logo from the BUSINESS directory.
@!HTML tab, PAGE TITLE
This will be the title of your web page
@!HTML tab, TOP IMAGE
This will be the main image of the web page. This is a good spot for a title graphic for your web page, or the name of your business.
@!HTML tab, IMAGE ALIGNMENT
This will align your images side to side on the web page, either LEFT, CENTER, or RIGHT.
@!HTML tab, TOP PARAGRAPH
The top paragraph is good for adding a little description about your web page, or saying things like This web page is under construction. You can use HTML code here, but make sure you close all commands and quotes.
@!HTML tab, ALIGN PARAGRAPH
Same as IMAGE ALIGNMENT except for the paragraph.
@!HTML tab, INCLUDE THUMBNAILS
This option will add mini-pictures on to your webpage so people can see what the picture is before they download it. It does take long to download the page however.
@!HTML tab, INCLUDE FILENAMES
This option will add the filenames to the web page. Although people wont be able to see what the picture is, the web page will download faster.
@!HTML tab, ROWS OF NAILS/FILES
This select how many rows of images you would like to have on each web page.
@!HTML tab, COLUMNS OF NAILS/FILES
This select how many columns of images you would like to have on each web page.
@!HTML tab, TABLE BORDER WIDTH
Reil Image creates the rows and columns by using a table. You can either make the table visible by setting the value to 1 or greater, or by setting it to 0, you make it invisible.
@!HTML tab, BOTTOM PARAGRAPH
This is the very last paragraph on the web page. This could be used to say thanks for visiting your web page, or let people know how to contact you. You can use HTML code here, but make sure you close all commands and quotes.
@!HTML tab, BOTTOM IMAGE
This is the last image on the web page. This could be used to add your title image again, web page image, or to add a banner or new image.
@!HTML tab, AUTHOR/WEBMASTER
This is your name or your companies name. You can use HTML code on this line, just make sure you close all commands and quotes.
@!Options tab, Number of Seconds for Auto Grab
This setting sets how many seconds you want Auto Grab to wait before checking the Internet browsers for new images. Set this option higher if you are not doing very much image downloading, or you are not doing any image downloading. Set this very low when you are doing large amounts of image downloading.
@!Options tab, EXTERNAL IMAGE EDITOR
This command is used to setup an external image editor, for editing images. Image Editors currently tested with Reil Image are PAINT SHOP PRO, and PHOTOSHOP.
@!Checking for Older versions of Reil Image (before 3.0)
The very first time you run Reil Image 3, Reil Image will come up and ask you if you want to include descriptions from older versions of Reil Image in the newer version of Reil Image. This is good if you have created several descriptions that you do not feel like re-typing.

@!Layout, Image Box
The Image box is where you will see the image when the image is selected from the file box.
@!Layout, File Box
The file box is used to select the images for viewing, copying, deleting and more.
@!Layout, Directory Box
This is the box you select which directory you want to view images from.
@!Layout, Drive Box
The drive box is where you select which drive you want to view images from.
@!Layout, Description Box
The description box is used to display descriptions for images. By clicking on this box you can change the description.
@!Layout, Background Image
the background should change automatically to your Windows 95 background image. This may not work if you are using Internet Explorer 4 or higher, or Windows NT.
