  25.    As the exclusive copyright holder for this software, eMedia Communications Ltd.
  26.    authorizes printed catalog, and electronic (BBS) on-line 
  27.    distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.

  30.        o  The software package - including all related program               
  31.           files and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any          
  32.           way (other than that mentioned in the following paragraph)         
  33.           and must be distributed as a complete package, without             
  34.           exception.  
  35.        
  36.        o  Many BBSs customarily add a small text file                        
  37.           (advertisement) to each archived file.  This text file             
  38.           describes the BBS and tells people that the file was               
  39.           downloaded from that particular BBS.  Other BBSs add a             
  40.           small one-line message with their BBS name and phone               
  41.           number into the compressed file, which will display when           
  42.           the file is uncompressed.  Either of these methods of              
  43.           mentioning your BBS are acceptable and may be used,                
  44.           provided the program and documentation is otherwise                
  45.           unmodified and complete.

  47.        o  Small additions to the package, such as the introductory
  48.           or installation batch files used by many shareware disk
  49.           vendors, are acceptable so long as they identify themselves
  50.           as being added by the distributor, and not part of the software.

  52.        o  No price or other compensation may be charged for the software
  53.           package.

  55.        o  In order to maximize resources, Vendors often provide several 
  56.           different programs/packages on a single disk -- this is perfectly 
  57.           acceptable to eMedia Communications Ltd.  We require that
  58.           the software files be bundled in such a way as to be presented 
  59.           as distinct and separate from those of other packages.  Archiving
  60.           is a suggested method of  accomplishing this goal.
  61.        
  62.        o  eMedia Communications Ltd. prohibits the distribution of            
  63.           outdated versions of the software package, without written         
  64.           permission from eMedia Communications Ltd.  If the version         
  65.           you have obtained is over six (6) months old, please            
  66.           contact us to ensure that you have the most current                
  67.           version. Please see the release date at the top of this file.  
  68.       
  69.        o  The software package CANNOT be sold as part of some other inclusive 
  70.           package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software 
  71.           packaging offer, without a written agreement from 
  72.           eMedia Communications Ltd.
  73.        
  74.        o  Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify,           
  75.           decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or             
  76.           transfer the licensed program except as provided in this           
  77.           agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall result in              
  78.           immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  80.        o  U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or                 
  81.           disclosure by the U.S. Government of the computer software         
  82.           and documentation in this package shall be subject to the          
  83.           restricted rights applicable to commercial computer                
  84.           software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the             
  85.           Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at           
  86.           252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The                             
  87.           Contractor/manufacturer is Rhode Island Soft Systems, Inc.
