  24. author's permission. Fix2000 is distributed - "as is". The author is not
  25. responsible for any defects that can appear as a result if using this program
  26. in your computer.

  28.         Please, read this instruction before setting the program!

  30.      Fix2000 eliminates the problem of the 2000th year for old chips CMOS that
  31. are supposed to work till 1999. With the beginning of 2000 the year counters
  32. microschemes will zero and your clock will show for instance 1900, 1970, 1980
  33. year.
  34.      During setup Fix2000 the program you will be asked to put in the real
  35. date and further Fix2000 will correct the date sent by BIOS to your programs.
  36. That means that despite your clock holds the the wrong date your programs will
  37. get the right one.
  38.     Fix2000 works only in operation systems DOS. Only the operation systems
  39. MS DOS 6.22, MS DOS 7.0 and PC DOS 6.3 were tested but i don't see any reason why this
  40. program can't be used in other operation systems compatible with MS DOS.

  42.      If the program Fix2000 finds a great number of users the following points
  43. are planned:
  44.     1. The working of Fix2000 version's for perating system Windows, and OS/2
  45.     2. The working of a program for the automatic search and correcting the
  46. programs that won't work after the beginning of 2000th years.
