  11.    1. CRC of packed data is now stored for file parts split between
  12.       volumes. It allows localization of a damaged volume, if volumes
  13.       set contains one large compressed file.

  15.    2. New command line switches:

  17.       a) -sv - create independent solid volumes.
  18.  
  19.          When this option is on, RAR tries to create solid volumes
  20.          which are independent one each another, so if one
  21.          volume is lost, files in following volumes may  still be
  22.          accessible.Note than sometimes this option cannot help, for
  23.          example, if volumes contain one large file. This option
  24.          slightly decreases solid volumes compression ratio, but
  25.          seriously increases reliability due to data loss because of
  26.          poor media quality.

  28.       b) -ac (clear "Archive" attribute) now can be used not only
  29.          when archiving, but also when extracting files to clear
  30.          "Archive" attribute on extracted files;

  32.       c) -ap<path> - set path inside archive. It allows to add files
  33.          to a specified archive folder when archiving or to remove
  34.          the specified part of path from file names when extracting.
