  2415. will take place!  This convention will gather the Amiga
  2416. community together from all across the world to show its
  2417. support for the Amiga!  We hope to make this show an event
  2418. in the long fight to make the Amiga a well known computer
  2419. in North America again.

  3060. Why In Koeping??
  3061. -----------------------------------------------------------

  3063. Koeping is a small town in the middle of Sweden. With car it
  3064. only takes 30 minutes from Västerås and oerebro, and less
  3065. than two hours from Stockholm. Koeping is also connected to
  3066. one large European road so there is no problem finding the
  3067. way to the party.
  3068.  
  3069. Go By Car
  3070. -----------------------------------------------------------

  3072. If you travel from Stockholm; The north way: follow E18
  3073. through Västerås to Koeping. The south way; follow E20
  3074. through Strängnäs, and Eskilstuna. Turn towards Kungsoer,
  3075. and then towards Koeping. From oerebro; Go towards Arboga,
  3076. and from there take E18 towards Koeping Once you're in
  3077. Koeping follow the signs saying Hospital (You know the
  3078. symbol: A red cross). The Hospital lies on a street called
  3079. "Glasgatan". And when you're at the Hospital just cross the
  3080. street and you're there. We will also put out signs, so
  3081. there'll be no problem finding the party (but if you still
  3082. can't find the place; ask some nice guy or girl where the
  3083. hospital is, or where KMV is :-).

  3085. Go by train
  3086. -----------------------------------------------------------

  3088. Well I must admit that I never travel by train so I can't
  3089. describe how to get to Koeping by one of those, but there's
  3090. no problem because when you buy the ticket they will tell
  3091. you where to change train and other important (?) things.
  3092. When you've got of the train at Koepings station just cross
  3093. the street and walk along "Glasgatan" tha party place is on
  3094. the left side of the street. We will put out signs where
  3095. the entrance is. The best thing is, there's only about 100
  3096. meters from the station to the party place.

  3098. Go by Bus
  3099. -----------------------------------------------------------

  3101. All busses stops right at the party place, so when you're
  3102. getting on the bus just take a chat with the busdriver, and
  3103. ask him to tell you when you're there. Remember to ask for
  3104. "glasgatan". we have signs so you can't miss the place, but
  3105. if you miss it, just ask someone where glasgatan is....

  3110. 1. The partyplace is a non-smoking area, so if you want to
  3111.    take any of these cancer-sticks, it'll have to be

  3115.    with the booozzze!

  3245. Welcome to a brand new party, THE SUMMER PARTY 1996.
  3246. Though this party is new, it's still an event you don't
  3247. wanna miss.
  3248. The Summer Party 1996 combines the big events of The Party
  3249. 1995 and the relaxed compact atmosphere of the good old
  3250. parties.

  3253. WHERE AND WHEN

  3255. The summer party 1996 will be held in the center of
  3256. Aalborg, the biggest city in the northern part of Denmark,
  3257. where you walk to the nearest McDonald, Burger King and
  3258. shopping center in under 5 minutes.

  3260. The party place is located right beside the railway-station
  3261. and the bus-station. If you travel by car, there is a big
  3262. parking place and if you want to unwind you can dase in the
  3263. sun in the park right beside the party place. The Summer
  3264. party begins the 12th of juli at 08:00  and ends the 14th
  3265. of juli at 15:00, but if you want to spend some extra time
  3266. with your friends feel free to arrive the night before.

  3305. ENTRANCE FEE

  3307. Due to a few more sponsors we are able to lower the
  3308. entrance fee to DKK 175,- if you pay when you arrive.
  3309. But if you buy your tickets in advance either directly from
  3310. The Party or, if you are living in Denmark, at the local
  3311. postoffice through billetnet, the price will be DKK 150,-
  3312. Due to overbooking of tables and seats there will be a
  3313. reservation fee of DKK 15,- pr. seat at the entrance, but
  3314. if you pay in advance directly to The Party, then the fee
  3315. will only be DKK 10,-
  3316. Please note that all seat reservations will only be valid
  3317. until 14.00 on the 12th of july.
  3318. Do also note that if you pay in advance, you will be able
  3319. to walk straight into the party place without waiting at
  3320. the registration line.

  3327. We will not accept anybody selling food, disks, services
  3328. etc. without our permission.
  3329. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed inside the partyplace. If
  3330. found, it will be confiscated and NOT given back.
  3331. Intoxicated people will be thrown out or handed over to the
  3332. police. This goes for both alcohol as well as drugs.
  3333. We will not accept any racist signs or acting, weapons,
  3334. spraycans or firework etc.
  3335. People who cause damages of any kind will ofcourse have to
  3336. pay for it.
  3337. We take no responsibility for illegal swapping, or sale of
  3338. software, hardware, video etc.
  3339. We have made an agreement with the danish anti-priacy
  3340. organization that they will not bust the party, but instead
  3341. host a conference on software piracy.
  3342. All demo's etc. from The Party since 1992 are available at
  3343. our web site and at The Summer Party 1996, both on the net
  3344. and a few hours after the last deadline on CD which will
  3345. also include the demo's etc. from The Summer Party 1996.
  3346. As a lot of people thinks The Party is a profit party, we
  3347. have decided to make the economy of The Party public and
  3348. all of it will be available on the web-pages a few days
  3349. after The Summer Party 1996 has ended.

  3380. All contributions must be delivered at The Information
  3381. before deadline. Bugfixes, problems with bad disk, etc. may
  3382. be solved after deadline, as long as the contribution has
  3383. not been changed in any way.
  3384. The deadlines are final and will not be moved.
  3385. If you want to take part in a competition you must be
  3386. present at The Party.
  3387. If too many contributions are delivered for a competition a
  3388. competent jury, selected among the guests will make a
  3389. selection.

  3581. Use the ferry to Frederikshavn, and follow the southbound
  3582. road towards Aalborg and the E45 road. After driving
  3583. through the tunnel, take the first exit and follow
  3584. The Party signs.
