  62. VK TIP:   Beginners - use the `automatic` option; it is much easier.

  80. Note:  When you select `Save` VK also saves the current karts selection
  81. (100/125) AND the current track selection (1,2,3): THESE WILL THEN BE
  82. CHOSEN EVERY TIME YOU LOAD VK.

  87. Demo    = Runs the Virtual Karting demonstration
  88. Credits = Displays credits and greetings
  89. Exit    = Quits Virtual Karting and returns to AmigaDos or Workbench.

  91. QUALIFY:
  92.  
  93. Shows a panoramic view of the current track selection and the best
  94. qualifying time so far and then starts qualify/practice.
  95.  
  96. VK TIP:  You can hit the `Q` key when driving in qualify/practice to reset
  97. your qualifying position back to 6th. The qualify practice lasts for an
  98. indefinate number of laps.
  99.  
  100. RACE:
  101.  
  102. Shows a panoramic view of the current track and the best lap time and best
  103. race time before you embark upon THE ONLY DRIVING EXPERIENCE. The race
  104. lasts 5 laps.

  106. SELECT KART
  107.  
  108. Here you can choose either a 100cc or 125cc Kart.
  109.  
  110. Kart Specifications:
  111.  
  112. 125cc  38HP motor
  113.        7 gears Auto or Mnaual
  114.        Rotating disc intake valve
  115.        No exhaust valve
  116.  
  117. VK TIP:  This is a `very` hard kart to drive with manual gears, and a
  118. difficult one with automatic gears.

  120. Beginners beware!!

  122. VK TIP:  Although it is very fast, this kart has no useful torque under
  123. 8000 r.p.m

  131. VK TIP:  This kart is very easy to drive - ideal for the VK beginner.

  133. SELECT TRACK:

  135. There are three tracks - `Beginner`, `Advanced` and `Expert`.
  136.  
  137. VK TIP:  This game is realistic, so don`t expect to pass all the karts
  138. easily. All the karts (including yours) have the same, identical
  139. performance. The difference is made by the driver (you or the 5 CPU`S)
  140.  
  141. VK TIP:  The game includes realistic wake routines. Thus when you follow a
  142. kart and you are near to it you have better aerodynamics and you can
  143. `easily` pass by, just like in real life.

  145. GAME KEYS
  146.  
  147. Q    =    cancels your qualify time for this track and this kart selection.
  148. (Only in Qualifying/Practice)
  149.  
  150. F10  =    toggles `3D mode` or `2D mode`.

  152. F1   =    low view (only available in 3D mode)

  154. F2   =    normal view (only available in 3D mode)

  156. F3   =    mid-view (only available in 3D mode)

  158. F4   =    high view (only available in 3D mode)

  160. DEL  =    manual gears

  164. LEFT ALT / RIGHT AMIGA = change gear down (both manual and automatic gears)

  166. LEFT AMIGA / RIGHT ALT = Change gear up (both manual and automatic gears)

  168. M   =    select mouse as driving device (default)

  170. A   =    select analogue joystick as driving device
  171.  
  172. J   =    select digital joystick as driving device

  174. B   =    toggles background between `none` or `simple 3D`.

  176. ESC =    exit from this race/Qualify/Demo

  178. SPACE =  toggles `pause` on/off.
