  12. SYMPTOM:

  14. Starting ENCARTA in VAG mode with the diamond viper card
  15. installed causes display corruption.

  18. RESOLUTION:
  19.  
  20. Microsoft stated that ENCARTA does not work in VGA mode with the
  21. Viper video card.  You must get the latest version of the Viper
  22. drivers from Diamond and install SVGA mode.

  25. PROCEDURE:
  26.  
  27. 1.  Get the latest Diamond Viper drivers from Diamond.
  28. 2.  Follow their instructions for installing SVGA.
  29. 3.  Restart the system.  ENCARTA should work.
  30.  
  31. NOTE:  The OS/2 Support Center does not support the Viper
  32.        drivers.  Diamond provides support for their drivers.
