  11. The following steps switch the HP Laserjet IIID printer mode from
  12. PCL to Postscript.
  13.  
  14.  
  15. 1.  Create a subdirectory in the Spool directory called
  16.     SPPAGE.
  17.  
  18. 2.  Copy TOPCL.ASC and TOPS.ASC, the files that deal with mode
  19.     switching, into the SPPAGE subdirectory.
  20.  
  21. 3.  Create the following two ASCII files:
  22.  
  23.           PCLSEP.PG should contain:
  24.  
  25.        & 1 & F "C:\SPOOL\SEPPAGE\TOPCL.ASC
  26.  
  27.        PSSEP.PG should contain:
  28.  
  29.        & 1 & F "C:\SPOOL\SEPPAGE\TOPS.ASC
  30.  
  31. 4.  Create a printer icon for PCL and one for PostScript.
  32.  
  33. 5.  Open the printer settings for the PostScript Printer.
  34.  
  35. 6.  Go to the print option.
  36.  
  37. 7.  In the separator file field insert:
  38.           C:\SPOOL\SEPPAGE\PSSEP.PG.
  39.  
  40.           C: is the drive where OS/2 resides
  41. 8.   Close the settings.
  42.  
  43. 9.  Repeat the same procedure for the PCL printer icon, adding
  44.     C:\SPOOL\SEPPAGE\PCLSEP.PG in the separator file field.
