- USING THE NOTEPAD

- Function:
-
- The Notepad is designed to keep your personal notes. It
- contains 5 pages, each page is 180 characters wide and
- 25 lines tall. The notepad pages are stacked on top of each other
- with the top line of each page always being visible.

- The Notepad problems in OS/2 2.0 were corrected in OS/2 2.1.
-
- Examples:
-
- When you start Notepad, a window appears with a blank
- Notepad.

- Creating a new notepad file:
-
- 1. Select File.
- 2. Select New.
- 3. Begin typing notes
-
- To save the file:
- 1. Select File.
- 2. Select Save.

- Selecting one of the five pages:
-
- 1. Move the mouse pointer to the top of the desired page.
- 2. Press mouse button 1 and the page becomes the current page.

- Adding graphics:
-
- 1. Move the cursor to the place you want a graphic on the
- notepad.
- 2. Select Edit.
- 3. Select Graphics.
- 4. Highlight the graphic you want to add.
- 5. Press select.
